It kind of breaks away from a lot of the boons you’ve been covering recently, and pursues it in a different way mechanically, so i really like this one in all honesty i think it’s very cool and with that in mind let me take you to the mechanics so we can break it down.

Mechanics
You have advantage on ability checks made to resist being grappled. In addition, you can use an action to automatically escape a grapple or free yourself of restraints of any kind.
I like this a lot, this kind of echoes the warlock invocation i think it’s thief of five fates, i might be wrong on that but there’s a warlock invocation that works almost identical to this so let’s you cast free action on yourself at will. I think it’s awesome yeah i don’t really see a problem with it inherently.
The restraints of any kind it might be a little bit interesting but outside of that it looks pretty standard. Let’s take a look at my more personal thoughts on it. You can also read what is the boon of irresistible offense?
Thoughts
I would probably give this up in exchange for completing a quest line in all honesty or doing something quite heroic like tracking down a notorious thief for example, i think that’d be pretty cool! Maybe it’s a blessing from a deity as well depending on what it is exactly worship and what you believe. I think that’d be pretty cool, yeah i really like this one. This is an incredible ability. While you seem to still have the chance to get swarmed, there are some very powerful creatures with grapple/swallow mechanics that are incredibly dangerous. You are usually blinded as well so most teleportation attempts are impossible. Keep reading this what is the boon of recall?
