Today we’re going to be taking a look at the 8th boon….boon of irresistible offense i really like this to be honest the name implies there’s a double entendre over it. I like it, Let’s take a look at the mechanics and kind of just explain it a little bit.

Mechanics
You can bypass the damage resistance of any creature.
I really like this one. I think this is a phenomenal top tier 20th level character ability and you know maybe even a little bit lower than that and i just like it. Please note that it just says resistances, it doesn’t say immunities so if a creature is still immune it’s still immune but this will definitely help make your character a little bit more viable in those high-level campaigns. Let’s get to my personal thoughts on it.
Thoughts
In terms of who benefits most you know the full caster is hands-down most notably the wizard and the sorcerer. I just really like it, i think it makes sense for them. If you’ve played in a high level campagin as a caster you’ll the pain the neck of literally everything of being resistant at least one great damage or another you know orders outright immune, this doesn’t help with immunities but the resistances is a nice one.
So i mean it makes sense, you know after you spend that time develpoing yourself into a grand archmage i think this spell makes a lot of sense, it kind of replicates the elemental adept feat a little bit just a significantly vastly superior, hyper specialized version of it.
So i like it, i don’t see a problem with this. I kind of give it as a reward for achieving a certain level of casting you know or heroic action would definitely want this. This work with those who don’t have Magic Weapon too, remember there those Resistant too physical damage too! Yeah i just want to that’s all i really have to say about it.
