Today we’re going to be taking a look at dnd minions of chaos perfect for those warlocks who just like having an army at their back. Kind of how shall we say connectors of those from several planes something of that nature i really like the roleplay behind it. Just cool story threads. In any case let’s take a look at the description here, so you know what we’re talking about what is the minion of chaos invocation?.
Description
First and foremost there is going to be a prerequisite unless you have to be at least 9th level that is nine levels of warlock by the way not nine whole character levels. So please put that in mind and it reads as followed.
You can cast conjure elemental once using a warlock spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Okay! So pretty good stuff there! Pretty easy to understand for the most part. That being said, let’s take a look at the overview. However you can also read what is the devil’s sight spell?.
Overview
So essentially what it means is, Summon a CR5 or lower elemental. The spell takes a minute to cast and the elemental lasts for an hour. During that time you must use your concentration inorder to control the elemental.
When you break control or the concentration rather the elementals you’re kinda just goes into a frenzy just attacks random things stuff of that nature. Super cool though, and really really useful. There’s a lot of great elementals, now technically speaking your DM gets to hold the character sheet and you get to pick like kind of where it comes from so the air, earth, fire stuff of that nature. But essentially depending on how you’re looking at it your DM gets to pick. So i mean i’d clear it with him in advance i just be like listen. This is what my character is trying to summon and then roll a percentile dice to see kind of what happens there are die you know or whatever you choose. Keep reading dnd huge earth elemental.
But in any case when your concentration is broken it goes berserk but it still disappears after the hour, you can’t dismiss it when it’s going berserk, you can however dismiss it while you’re still control of it. You can also check out this dnd ancient tome.
So pretty cool stuff there! Might also be worth noting that CR5 or lower you bump that up by CR5 for each spell slots above 5th level so whatever your warlock spell level is by that point would kind of determine, how much juice you’re really getting out of it and i mean at 9th level what happens to be that fifth level slot and it looks like that carries through all the way to the end. That’s right i forgot! that’s how warlocks work. So max is on that fifth level. Do check this what is the voice of the chain master?
