Devil’s Sight DnD 5E

Hello warlocks of all shapes and sizes! Welcome to my spellbook and thank you so much for checking out the 11th episode of our eldritch invocation 5e series. Today we’re going to be taking a look at one of the most commonly chosen invocations maybe outside of agonizing blast 5e but not to be used without it.

Today we’re going to be taking a look at devil sight 5e. Which is probably one of the coolest sounding names in the entire invocation list, there’s a lot of cool ones those but this is certainly top 10 in my mind. With that hyped up intro out of the way let’s take a look at the description.

Description

So how to get devil’s sight 5e warlock? First and foremost it might be worth noting that there is no prerequisite for this meaning anyone of any level any spell list or any feat can pick this with no problem and it written down below.

You can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 120 feet.

Man…not really a whole lot to breakdown there. Really great! anyways let’s try overview. In any case you can also check out this devil sight vs true sight.

Overview

Basically you can see through magical and non-magical darkness up to 120 feet.

This pair is so so so well with a ascendant step honestly between the two of them it is you’re well setup but an eldritch blast as well and throw agonizing blast in threre just for insult to injury, so ascendant step lets you float up, this lets you see perfectly for long distances and then agonizing blast just adds a little bit more bite to it. You can essentially be one of the most deadly snipers in the game with that combo, i really do like it on you know i’m sure there’s a ton of other ones. You can also chekc out the differences of devil’s sight vs darkvision.

If you multiclass into paladin grabbed the darkness spell and grabbed Devil’s Sight then you can cast darkness on yourself then you can get benefit on your attack roll while you are using darkness and divine smite as well as you using your warlock spell slots for divine smite at 2nt level early on.

For Hexblade Warlocks, combine with Darkness Spell and essentially give yourself unlimited benefits since you can see the enemy but they unable to see you. Also read devils in d&d.
