Hello paleontologists of all shapes and sizes! Welcome to my spellbook and thank you so much for checking out the 65th episode of our beast series. We got another dino whoa very exciting stuff! We’re taking a look at the hadrosaurus dnd 5e. Now this creature is most known for its bony horn on its skull, it is a herbivore and it’s kind of pretty pretty cool, i don’t know. It’s not a super exciting dinosaur but it still counts so cool stuff! It is found in the volo’s guide to monsters and this considered be cr one quarter and netting you a 50 experience points on a kill. Now let’s take a look at the Hadrosaurus.
Hadrosaurus DnD 5E Stats
- Type: Large beast, unaligned
- Armor Class: 11 (Natural Armor)
- Hit Points: 19 (3d10 + 3)
- Speed: 40 ft.
So it is considered to be a large beast that is unaligned which means medium creatures can ride on it which is super cool. Live out those childhood fantasies. AC of 11, a solid 19 hit points using 3d10 and adding three. Speed of 40 feet which is nice. Now let’s take a look at its actual stats here. You can also check out this dimetrodon 5e | deinonychus 5e.

You’ll notice are actually kind of underwhelming for a dinosaur, plus two to strength which is nice, constitution plus one pretty good as well but i don’t know i’m just kind of underwhelmed. Taking a look at is skills you’ll see a plus two to perception which is always nice and under senses a passive perception of 12 which puts it above the average for the category. Now let’s take a quick look at its actions here. Don’t miss this velociraptor (5e).
Actions
Tail: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d10 + 2) bludgeoning damage. A hadrosaurus is a semi-quadrupedal herbivore recognizable by its bony head crests. If raised as a hatchling, it can be trained to carry a Small or Medium rider.
The hadrosaurus can do a tail attack. It is considered to be a melee weapon attack, plus four to hit, reach of five feet, it can target one target and deals seven bludgeoning damage on a hit. Calculated by rolling 1d10 and adding two very nice stuff. Also check out rothe 5e stats.
I really do like it, i don’t know thematically it’d be a cool mount, cool way to get around a more kind of jungly environment i suppose, really take advantage of their appearance and their dinosaur heritage naturally. Also check out what species can you be in d&d.
Conclusion
