So looking over the stats here, the bat has a pretty decent AC of 12 which is really nice. It gets one hit point that’s determined by the average of 1d4-1, i’d roll it in all honesty why not right! You have five feet of walking movement and 30 feet of fly speed so this is clearly meant to be an aerial familiar. Out of its stats, it ranks pretty poorly especially in terms of strength and intelligence which is fine for familiar.

It’s best score by far though is dexterity and that’s super great for those stealth checks right! In any case it senses you git 60 feet of blindsight which is awesome, especially if you’re perceiving through it and it has a moderately decent passive perception of 11.

And has two kind of ability is the first being echolocation what that means is it can’t use blind sense while it’s deafening. It also has keen hearing so has advantage on any perception checks that rely on hearing. Really good stuff, if i was a wizard i would have the bat kind of hanging inside of my wizards cloak and i’d be perceiving through him almost the entire time, really taking advantage of that blind sight, i think that’s such a good one, i really like it.

Conclusion

In any case if you have any cool ways on how to use the bat, any thoughts, comments, concerns please put it down in the comments below, i really appreciate it guys.
