Today we’re gonna be taking a look at the sixth boon on our list and it is the boon of immortality. This one is pretty much exactly what it says if i’m gonna be brutally honest with you. I mean it’s a pretty good.
Immortality has been a concept in 5e and in d&d for a long time. Let’s take a look at the mechanics we know the exact wording here. So that we can understand boon of immortality 5e how to get.

Mechanics
You stop aging. You are immune to any effect that would age you, and you can’t die from old age.
I think this is pretty okay. I mean i would certainly use this as a tool more than anything else. I mean it’s a reward i guess but i would use this as a tool from my end and i kind of have inadvertently i guess. So first and foremost might be worth noting that a lot of classes get this just for being them, the monk is a great example of that the druid kind of sorted us and the cleric can kind of sort of do it as well. In any case let’s take a look at my thoughts.
Thoughts
Wow any wizard with a wish spell can do this to its own wizards as well, high-level casters in general. So i’ve technically given this boon out before actually quite a bit. I have a routine in my long stretch campaigns where i dub the heroes with immortality and at least has some semblance of another if they want it and i actually have them kind of serve as lesser deities i guess depending on what level they make it up to. At the very least i have their influence ever-present in the world that i’m building. I think is just a really cool way for just to pay homage to chracters of the past you know what i mean. So i really like it. You can also check out this minor boons 5e.
I don’t see a problem mechanically with this in my game and yeah a lot of once again a lot of classes get it anyways and there’s a couple races that are borderline immortals, so it does make a lot of sense to me to kind of hand this one a little bit more freely.
