Flying Monkey 5E DnD Stat Block

  • Type: Small beast, unaligned
  • Armor Class: 12
  • Hit Points: 3 (1d6)
  • Speed: 20 ft., climb 20 ft., fly 30 ft.

So the flying mnkey is considered to be a small beast and unaligned. Although they do have a nasty habit of being quite mischievous. Their armor class is 12 and their hit points is considered to be 3 but it’s really just a straight roll of a d6. It’s speed is interesting because it actually has 3 different movement types such as 20 feet walking, 20 feet climbing or 30 feet flying. Very cool stuff, lots of versatility. Now taking a look at its actual stats along the side. Also check out this 5e can dragons take human form.

Flying Monkey 5E DnD Stats

  • STR: 8 (-1)
  • DEX: 14 (+2)
  • CON: 11 (+0)
  • INT: 5 (-3)
  • WIS: 12 (+1)
  • CHA: 6 (-2)

You can see it’s quite dexterious and quite wise. Outside of that it’s also relatively charismatic compared to a lot of other creatures we’ve covered this far which makes sense. It’s also a little bit smarter and a little bit stronger than a couple of them as well which is quite interesting. Now taking a look at its senses. Do you know 5e how to fight flying creatures.

Senses

  • It only really has Passive Perception of which is 11. Languages — Challenge 0 (10 XP) It does however come equipped with pack tactics.
  • Pack Tactics: The flying monkey has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the monkey’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated. Now let’s take a quick look at his actions here.

Actions

  • Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 (1d4 – 1) piercing damage.
  • The monkey is capable of a bite attack. It is considered to be a melee weapon attack +1 to hit, range of 5 ft., only one target and is technically a one piercing damage although it is calculated by 1d4 subtracted by one.

Very cool stuff! I really love the flying monkeys, a cool way to use them in your campaign is to have the local fief killed, train them to steal valuable objects and have one steal from a party member and lead into a whole plot narrative from there. You can also read this tressym 5e.

Flying monkeys are slightly more clever and curious than common monkeys, and they can be domesticated and taught to obey simple commands. They come in many colors and varieties, with feathered wings that have a span of about 5 feet. With the DM’s permission, the find familiar spell can summon a flying monkey.

Conclusion

That being said, if you have any cool ways on how to incorporate the flying monkey into your game please let me know down beneath in the comment section, also be sure to mention if you have any comments, questions, concerns, ideas or stories i really do appreciate it. That being said, i hope you all have a great day and as always happy studying.
