Weasel DnD 5E Monster

Hello zoologists of all shapes and sizes! Welcome to my spellbook and thank you so much for checking out the for checking out the 32nd episode of our beast series. Now currently this is actually gonna be the last episode of the cr0 beasts, we’re gonna be moving up to the one eighths really quick here, which is gonna be awesome as prison through him the other day there’s so many interesting ones worth talking about.

But before we get there, we got a tackle the weasel, this familiar option and just kind of common kind of longbow as it were. Is found in the basic rules and that is so far as to say it’s in a couple of the books, i know it’s in that phb for sure just because it’s a familiar option. And i clocked in at a cr0 which means it’s not really a threat. Now let’s check out its stats.

Weasel 5E Monster DnD Stat Block

  • Type: Tiny beast, unaligned
  • Armor Class: 13
  • Hit Points: 1 (1d4 – 1)
  • Speed: 30 ft.

So the weasel is considered to be a tiny beast which makes sense. With an AC of 13 which is actually really high, certainly beasts the average. That being said, he only has one hit point and that’s determined by rolling 1d4 and subtracting one. Speed of 30 feet which actually puts him in line with most medium creatures. Now let’s take a look at its actual stats. Also read this giant weasel 5e.

Weasel 5E Monster DnD Stats

  • STR: 3 (-4)
  • DEX: 16 (+3)
  • CON: 8 (-1)
  • INT: 2 (-4)
  • WIS: 12 (+1)
  • CHA: 3 (-4)
  • Skills: Perception +3, Stealth +5
  • Senses: Passive Perception 13
  • Languages:
  • Challenge: 0 (10 XP)

You’ll see he’s quite dexterous and has a little bit of wisdom but that’s really it. Not very strong at all very dumb, very low charisma just not a very well-rounded creature. He has a passive perception of 13 and has a plus three to perception and +5 to stealth which is great. Also check out this spider 5e.

  • Keen Hearing and Smell: The weasel has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

He also has keen hearing and smell which long-term advantage on perception checks relating to hearing and sight which is pretty much all of them. Let’s take a quick look at his actions here.

  • Actions Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage.

The weasel can do one bite attack. It’s considered to be a melee weapon attack, +5 to hit which is great, reach of five feet, it can only target one target and deals one piercing damage on a hit. I feel like this would be pretty common in most forest or hill environments. Weasels are relatively easy to come by, so they’re not particularly rare.

You might have a party trying to hunt one down by really taking advantage of that stealth check of its, i’m surprised i don’t really have too much going on with them but whatever i would like to see them have more speed that’s kind of just me. Do you know what is the help action in 5e?
