Giant Riding Lizard DnD 5E Stat Block

  • Type: Large beast, unaligned
  • Armor Class: 12 (Natural Armor)
  • Hit Points: 19 (3d10 + 3)
  • Speed: 30 ft., climb 30 ft.

So the giant riding lizard is considered to be a large beast that is unaligned. So medium beasts can ride on which is cool. AC of 12, 19 hit points, calculated by rolling 3d10 and adding 3. Speed of 30 feet and climb speed of 30 feet as well. Which is great. Now let’s take a look at its actual stats here. Do you know riding lizard 5e cost.

Giant Riding Lizard DnD 5E Stats

  • STR: 15 (+2)
  • DEX: 12 (+1)
  • CON: 13 (+1)
  • INT: 2 (-4)
  • WIS: 10 (+0)
  • CHA: 5 (-3)
  • Senses: Darkvision 30 ft., Passive Perception 10
  • Languages:
  • Challenge: 1/4 (50 XP)
  • Spider Climb: The lizard can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

You’ll notice quite strong a little bit dexterity, little bit of con, not the brightest or most charismatic but you know overall quite well-rounded. Now taking a look at it his senses now you’ll see 30 feet of darkvision and a passive perception of ten which kind of puts it in line with the average for the cr 1/4. Also check out this can you play as a giant in d&d?.

And he also gain access to spider climb. It can climb difficult surfaces including upside down on ceilings without needing an ability check. Very cool stuff! Needless to say kind of designed to be a mount. Now let’s take a look at his actions here. Don’t miss this giant subterranean lizard 5e.

Actions

  • Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.

You make one action, that is bite. This is a melee weapon attack +4 to hit, reach of five feet, it can only target one target and deals six piercing damage on a hit, calculated by rolling 1d8 and adding two. In terms of how i would use them in my games, i probably just have them as modes of transporation.

I think that is the best way to use them, maybe give them to noblemen i think that’d be kind of cool, kind of more exotic kind of mount. But outside of that, taking a look at their stats like it’s not really anything that particularly stands out to me same with their action and not really anything too too fancy but they would make a great mount so that’s how i’d use them. Also check out this what lizards do drow ride?.

Conclusion

That being said, let me know how you would use the giant riding lizard down beneath in the comment section. Also be sure to mention if you have any questions, comments or concerns. That being said, i hope you all have a great day and as always happy research.
