Draft Horse DnD 5E Monster

Hello zoologists of sll shapes and sizes! Welcome to my spellbook and thank you so much for checking out the 53rd episode of our beast series. Today we have a rather kind of thematically interesting or socially interesting even creature to talk about. We’re taking a look at the draft horse dnd 5e beast. Now the draft horse is considered to be a cr one quarter and it is found in the basic rules. Which is to say basically everyone can get it.

This is also very populat steed and i’ll kind of get into that in a little bit here. But that being said, let’s take a quick look at its stats and break it down a little bit.

Draft Horse DnD 5E Stats

  • Type: Large beast, unaligned
  • Armor Class: 10
  • Hit Points: 19 (3d10 + 3)
  • Speed: 40 ft.

So the draft horse is considered to be a large beast that is unaligned. And has an AC of 10 and 19 hit points calculated by rolling 3d10 and adding three. The speed of 40 feet as well which is pretty good. Taking a look at its actual stats now. also read this riding horse 5e.

DnD 5E Draft Horse Stats

  • STR: 18 (+4)
  • DEX: 10 (+0)
  • CON: 12 (+1)
  • INT: 2 (-4)
  • WIS: 11 (+0)
  • CHA: 7 (-2)
  • Senses: Passive Perception 10
  • Languages:
  • Challenge: 1/4 (50 XP)

You’ll notice an impressive strength and constitution score outside of that its pretty average as most beasts. It also has passive perception of 10. Now let’s take a quick look at its actions here. Also check out this dnd 5e draft horse vs riding horse.

Actions

  • Hooves: Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

They can do a hoove attack. It is considered to be a melee weapon attack and a plus six to hit which is certainly very impressive, range of five feet, it can only target one target and deals 9 bludgeoning damage on a hit, calculated by rolling 2d4 and adding four.

So its rather interesting cause it is draft horse than a dnd 5e war horse. And the war horse is for the most part appearing originally as a draft horse. So if i would kind of put these in the world i would give kind of more commoners square type people the draft horse and then the nobility of the war horse and then a true presence maybe something like a pony.

Conclusion

That being said, let me know how you would fold them in your game down beneath in the comment section. Also tell me if you have any questions, comments or concerns as well. That being said, i hope you all have a great day and as always happy researching. Also check out this dnd 5e draft horse spells.
