Anyways enough about the hawks i can really imagine a hawk being used with an old refined magician full of just years and years of wisdom and i’m just very regal i think that’s the word i’m looking for here isn’t someone who carries with each step a certain degree of majesty as a word. In any case let’s take a look at the hawk 5e stats here. In any case you may also like to read haste dnd.

  • STR: 5 (-3)
  • DEX: 16 (+3)
  • CON: 8 (-1)
  • INT: 2 (-4)
  • WIS: 14 (+2)
  • CHA: 6 (-2)
  • Skills: Perception +4

  • Keen Sight: The hawk has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
  • Actions: Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 slashing damage.

The hawk has the best AC we’ve covered so far of 13. Its hit point is only one known that is calculated by 1d4 minus one. And you’re free to roll that die four and seek to get from it. So how fast is a hawk 5e? you’ve a speed is 10 feet of walking speed but it also is a 60 foot fly speed which is nuts. What that means is if you’re prepared to use your familiars action as a dash action you can get a hundred and twenty feet in a round out of this guy which is quite impressive. You can also check out half orc.

In terms of its actual stats you know look at the +3 to dex, +2 to wisdom. That’s super great, it lacks a little bit in terms of intelligence and strength but it’s also technically a tiny beast right so take that with a grain of salt. We’re really culling clutch is it gets a +4 to perception and as a passive perception of 14 which was actually higher than my current character. You can compare 5e hawk vs owl from here.

It also gets keen sight which means it has advantage on perception checks when it comes to sight. So that’s super cool! Honestly i don’t see a reason why you wouldn’t have this flying above of you virtually all times. It really helps in terms of strategizing when you have that aerial view to such a straight out of assassin’s creed honestly.

Conclusion

Super cool stuff! a great familiar for almost anyone who picked find familiar via the elemental adept or ritual caster feat super great stuff! In any case that’s gonna be about it for this blog post. If you have any cool uses for the hawk, any cool stories or any interesting ideas please put it down in the comment section beneath i really appreciate it. That being said, i hope you all have a great and as always happy casting.
