Gift of The Ever Living Ones DnD

Hello warlocks of all shapes and sizes! Welcome to my spellbook and thank thank you so much for checking out the 21st episode of our what is eldritch invocation? series. Today we’re going to be taking a look at dnd 5e gift of the ever living ones.

This gonna be perfect if you have a cleric in the party actually and if you are kind of prone to taking a little bit more damage than you want to. In any case that being said, let’s take a look at the description here, so we get what we’re talking about. You can also check out this warlock 5e.

Description

There is a prerequisite and that’s you have to pick a pact of the chain feature. And the description reads as followed.

Whenever you regain hit points while your familiar is within 100 feet of you, treat any dice rolled to determine the hit points you regain as having rolled their maximum value for you.

Really really cool stuff there! also pretty easy to understand but you know let’s break it down in any case just to make sure we all fully understand how this works. Also read what is the voice of the chain master?.

Overview

Essentially while your familiar is within 100 feet of you, and you regain hit points. You take the maximum roll.

So let’s say your cleric heals you like 3d4 something like that. You automatically assume that all of those d4 rolled as four. So 12 hit points essentially in that case. Anyways this is pretty simple to understand, i know it is useful whether or not i’d pick it as one of my i’m not quite too sure yet but it is really good in any case. Gift of The Ever-Living Ones Temporary Hit Points

As per this invocation you won’t ever regain the temporary hit points. Basically You can gain them, but after they’ve lost, they are never “regained”. So it should not work. You can also read this how many times can you use eldritch invocations?.
