Hello warlocks of all shapes and sizes! Welcome to my spellbook and thank you so much for checking out the 16th episode of our eldritch invocation series. Really do appreciate it and i just love the support so keep it coming guys. Now today we’re going to be taking a look at one of the most overlooked yet circumstantially super useful invocations in the entire game. Today we’re going to be taking a look at eyes of the rune keeper invocation.
This is perfect if you’re the kind of warlock who just loves learning, who obsesses over ancient texts and more and who just wants to broaden their horizons be it for academic or personal reasons. With that being said, let’s take a look at the description.
Description
First and foremost there’s no prerequisite for this. So that is fantastic anyone of any level of any spell selection or of any feat selection or feature selection can pick it with no problem. And it written as followed.
You can read all writing
Pretty simple, let’s take a look at the overview and kind of flesh that a little bit more as least as much as we can. Essentially all writing is legible.
Now it’s tricky because there’s a difference between being able to read and understand druidic example, it conveys like pictures and things of that nature and if you were to read it word for word, it wouldn’t make much sense, it’s meant to be taken more contextually and read between the lines. You can also read eyes of the rune keeper spell scrolls.
Same is true with the thieves’ cant to various degrees, i just don’t think this is applicable for cypher i think it’s only applicable for actual languages be a dead or not. You may disagree but that’s kind of how i look at it. However you can also check out the eyes of the rune keeper vs comprehend languages.
Conclusion
In any case, if you have any cool ideas and interesting concepts, builds, combinations or have any questions please feel free to ask them down below in the comment section.
